fuels, it can help decarbonise transport, especially heavy-duty transport, where electrification is not foreseeable in the short to medium term.<\/p><p>Progress has continued in the roll-out of natural gas vehicle (NGV) refuelling infrastructure for public use around Spain, oriented towards a transformation to BioNGV. We currently have 13 facilities in Spain.<\/p><p>Moreover, the NGV refuelling station infrastructure can be used for both biomethane \u2014thereby favouring the development of this fuel\u2014 and for hydrogen \u2014either through blending with natural gas or through synergies due to the similarity of the business model\u2014 which makes it possible to share common sites and development. To do so, we have implemented\u00a0<strong>comprehensive and personalised electric mobility solutions\u00a0<\/strong>that allow customers to enjoy their own electric vehicle charging station.<\/p><div class=\"col-sm-6\"><div class=\"generic__ckeditor\"><p>This value proposal is contextualised in services such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.naturgy.es\/comunidad_propietarios\/soluciones\/recarga_vehiculo_electrico\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Naturgy recarga<\/a>, a\u00a0<strong>comprehensive and personalised electric mobility solution<\/strong>\u00a0that allows customers to enjoy their own electric vehicle charging station.<\/p><p>In addition, we are committed to developing <strong>a network of chargers<\/strong>\u00a0that will give all citizens access to a\u00a0<strong>universal and open electricity recharging service<\/strong>. The plan is based on the\u00a0<strong>deployment of an urban customer proximity network with low-power public chargers<\/strong> and a capillary network of rapid chargers that provides safety to the The potential for reducing GHG emissions could be as high as 35 Mt CO2eq\/year, in other words,\u00a0<strong>over 15% of the total emissions forecast for Spain in 2030<\/strong>.<\/li><li>The renewable gases produced from organic waste are not only carbon neutral but\u00a0<strong>may even achieve negative CO2 emissions by acting as a sink<\/strong>\u00a0and removing greenhouse\u00a0gases from the atmosphere. This is the case with biomethane from livestock manure, which under current systems of management produces GHG emissions. Transforming that waste into renewable gas can prevent 200% of the CO2 emissions corresponding to the fossil fuel replaced from entering the atmosphere.<\/li><li>In addition, this circular model has other advantages, such as\u00a0<strong>improvements to the environmental management of organic waste<\/strong>, such conflictive forms of organic waste such as livestock manure, slurry, manure, poultry manure, sewage sludge or the organic fraction of household waste, also avoiding the undesirable effects these have on people and biodiversity through water pollution, foul odours, etc.<\/li><li>From the social point of view,\u00a0<strong>it helps with local rural development, establishing jobs and populations in agricultural and livestock environments<\/strong>\u00a0by reducing their external energy dependency, and at the same time the country\u2019s energy improving air quality as a result of its\u00a0<strong>low emissions<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Vehicles that use this fuel bear the\u00a0<strong>ECO label<\/strong>\u00a0from the Spanish Directorate-General of Traffic (DGT), and enjoy benefits including\u00a0<strong>free access to city centres<\/strong>\u00a0at times when air pollution levels are high, as well as tax incentives and discounted rates in regulated parking areas.<\/li><li>It also\u00a0<strong>cuts emissions of CO<\/strong><sub><strong>2<\/strong><\/sub>, the main greenhouse gas,\u00a0<strong>by up to 24%,<\/strong>\u00a0thereby contributing to the fight against climate change.<\/li><li>Natural gas is a very competitive fuel,\u00a0<strong>being up to 50% cheaper than petrol and 30% cheaper than diesel<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Natural gas\u00a0<strong>almost eliminates pollutant emissions that affect health<\/strong>. It reduces nitrogen oxide emissions by more than 85% and suspended particulates by almost 100%, which are the main causes of respiratory and heart problems stemming from pollution in urban environments.
