Naturgy renews its Great Place to Work certification

  • The energy firm was the first IBEX 35 company to receive the Great Place to Work® certification last year.
  • This recognition, which has been renewed following an evaluation carried out by the company’s own professionals, highlights the Naturgy Group’s strengths in terms of work-life balance and flexibility, collaboration and teamwork, as well as the benefits and job stability it offers.

Naturgy has renewed its Great Place to Work® certification for the second year in a row. In 2024, it became the first IBEX 35 company to obtain this recognition, which highlights the work-life balance and flexibility, collaboration and teamwork at the firm, as well as the benefits and job stability it offers.

Naturgy’s Great Place to Work certification is based on an assessment carried out by almost 1,000 of the group’s professionals in a confidential and voluntary survey conducted by Great Place to Work®.

Enrique Tapia, Naturgy’s Managing Director of People and Resources, pointed out that “reaching this important achievement for the second year in a row is a credit to Naturgy’s team, who have demonstrated how proud they are to be part of the company, recognising the value of teamwork, of learning and developing within the company, as factors that motivate our people and drive their commitment”.

The analysis carried out by the consultancy firm focused on different values linked to five dimensions: credibility, respect, pride, camaraderie and fairness. One conclusion of the Great Place to Work® assessment was that 85% of Naturgy employees say they feel welcome after joining the company and 80% expect to work there in the long term.

Great Place to Work® is a consulting firm that has been working with companies around the world for more than 30 years to identify, create and sustain high-trust, high-performance cultures by helping organisations become great places to work.

Commitment to people

Naturgy has evolved its professional experience model thanks to continuous listening, measurement and by getting people involved in improving initiatives and processes. In this regard, the group has designed a global model for feedback and measuring satisfaction and commitment, allowing it to take more assertive steps forward when improving and designing new experiences in the company.

Naturgy believes it is essential to promote a safe, quality work climate that fosters development in diverse, digital environments focused on continuous learning. This certification is just one of several that the company has already received in 2025, such as Top Employer 2025, the EFR Global seal and the Merco Talent top 20.
