Our training model
We have three academies that complement each other and enable our team to tackle the challenges of the present and the future through ongoing learning, development of the leadership role and the adoption of new ways of working.
Transformational Leadership
Based on three cores: Digital Academy, to transform the professional profile into a digital employee; New Energy, with a view to develop executives and high potential employees to address future challenges and understand market trends; and Naturgy Leadership, to promote the role of leader as a driving force for organisational and cultural change.
Tech Academy
Promotes the necessary technical knowledge for each position, allowing the efficient development, the incorporation of innovative methodologies, quality and uniformity of the expert knowledge in all businesses.
Extended Academy
Promotes a targeted training offer to the companies involved in the Naturgy value chain in order to improve their operational efficiency, incorporate innovative methods and develop skills for excellence in operations and service.

Reskilling in People Management
In view of the ongoing transformation challenges and the need for talent development, mainly linked to future organisational projects with evolving business objectives and new professional challenges, in 2022 we launched the RefresH programme, focused on our corporate and businesspeople teams. We have updated general and specific competencies in the field of HR to offer a personalised training journey, incorporating the main trends and best practices in the market.
In a modular, dynamic, flexible and blended format (combining synchronous and asynchronous actions), the programme is taught by experts both external and internal to the company, who are recognised specialists in their areas of knowledge.
The sessions of this 7-month course, totalling 150 hours of training, are recorded and edited to ensure the participation process and as a documentary repository for consultation by the teams.
The programme, aimed at close to 100 professionals, provides HR teams in Spain and Latin America with organisational flexibility, improving internal employability as a lever for development and mobility.

Naturgy’s digital transformation
Our strategic plan with a view towards 2025 involves the development of a series of increasingly accelerated technology integration and process digitalisation projects. In this context, the Corporate University has designed a training programme to develop the necessary skills for the creation of data processing, exploitation, visualisation and analysis solutions.
More specifically, it is a master’s programme comprised of three modules:
1) Computational Thinking, via which the participants learn to analyse and solve complex problems, with 100 hours of learning between the classroom, Learning Challenge and Hackathon.
2) Data Analytics, for the creation of data analysis and visualisation solutions, with a duration of 196 hours using the same methodologies as for module 1.
3) Data Science, for implementing algorithms and discovering the meaning of data, with 256 hours of classroom learning, Learning Challenge and Hackathon.

Management excellence continues to be supported by a quality control system in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, renewed in 2020 for a further three years.
Since 2003, we have also enjoyed CLIP (Corporate Learning Improvement Process) accreditation, awarded by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), which acknowledges quality in learning processes and the development of people in business education organisations. Our CLIP accreditation was last renewed in 2018 for a five-year period. In 2020, an updated review of the commitments established in 2018 was performed using the CLIP Interim Report.
We were the only Spanish company recognised at the awards ceremony of the Global Council of Corporate Universities (GlobalCCU), the global network of corporate university professionals, receiving the top award in the Social and Climate Change Impact category for the innovative and cross-the-board rollout of training in the field of sustainability at our Corporate University.
Our Campus
The Puente Nuevo Campus is the centrepiece of the Corporate University. Located in the town of El Tiemblo (province of Ávila, Castile-Leon), it has been especially created for people to meet, work and reflect in the heart of nature. In these extraordinary surroundings of enormous cultural and natural interest, it is also possible to engage in activities aimed at enjoyment, sharing and team-building.
