Naturgy reported a net profit of €1,215 billion in the first half of 2026, up 6% compared with the same period of the previous year, while EBITDA reached €2,975 billion, an increase of 5%. This performance reflects the strength of the Group’s integrated business model, disciplined operational and financial management, and its ability to adapt to demanding market conditions. Naturgy therefore continues to deliver on its commitments to all stakeholders and advances the execution of its 2025-2027 Strategic Plan from a position of strength.

Naturgy made solid progress in meeting its strategic objectives in the first quarter of 2026 in an energy context marked by high price volatility and uncertainty. The group strengthened its strategic role and its commitment to security of supply, once again demonstrating its resilience in adapting to changes in the environment and delivering on the 2025–2027 Strategic Plan.

Naturgy today presented its 2025 results, which demonstrate the company’s ability to deliver on all its commitments—despite an energy environment that deteriorated in the second half of the year. Net profit reached 2.023 billion euros, investments exceeded 2.1 billion euros, the company’s contribution to society in taxes and fees amounted to nearly 1.3 billion euros, and dividends distributed to shareholders totalled around 1.7 billion euros.

Naturgy and Enagás, through the subsidiary Scale Green Energy, have reached an agreement to promote the decarbonisation of maritime transport in the Iberian Peninsula by constructing and chartering the latest generation 'Mistral LNG' vessel to supply liquefied natural gas (LNG) and BioLNG to all types of vessels.

Naturgy has added seven new battery storage projects to its renewables portfolio and consolidated its position as a leading promoter of this technology in Spain, which plays a key role in guaranteeing the stability of the electricity supply and favouring the energy transition. The new projects bring Naturgy's battery storage portfolio in Spain to a total of 16 facilities. Some of these plants are already under construction and will start operating in early 2026.

Naturgy has once again been recognised with the highest rating, A-List, in the Climate category of the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) index, consolidating its position as one of the leading global companies in climate management. In 2025, only 2% of the more than 21,000 companies assessed by CDP achieved this distinction, awarded to the company for its transparency and performance in climate change.

Naturgy has taken yet another step forward in its commitment to integrity and best corporate governance practices by renewing the UNE 19601 - Criminal Compliance Management System and ISO 37001 - Anti-Bribery Management System certifications awarded by Bureau Veritas. The energy company has held these certifications continuously since 2019.

Naturgy has started up the Zorita I and Zorita II photovoltaic plants located between the municipalities of Almonacid de Zorita and Zorita de los Canes in the province of Guadalajara, near the former José Cabrera nuclear power plant. The commissioning of these facilities represents a further step forward in the company's strategy of transforming and promoting the energy transition, with an operational renewable energy capacity of more than 5.5 GW in Spain.

Through the Innovahub innovation platform, Naturgy is promoting a pioneering project in Spain to develop floating photovoltaic technology in the open sea, in collaboration with the Spanish start-up BlueNewables. This initiative, which is subsidised by the IDAE within the framework of the Renmarinas programme, seeks to explore new renewable solutions that will help decarbonise the energy system.

Naturgy has been awarded a triple 'A', the highest rating, by MSCI rating agency, which measures the resilience of companies to long-term sustainability risks. The energy company has received this recognition consecutively since 2017 and is the Spanish company that has received it uninterruptedly for the longest time.
