Naturgy –in line with its commitment to the social, economic and health crisis caused by Covid-19– is reinforcing its commitment to sustainability in all areas and its level of social action through its new corporate campaign where it demonstrates its active role in respecting the environment and economic recovery, especially with the most vulnerable.
In this sense, the company presided over by Francisco Reynés has committed to a multimedia campaign in which it explains, with pragmatic optimism, all the actions that the company has been taking in recent years and which are mainly focused on a strong investment effort in renewables, promoting sustainable mobility, reinforcing customer service, offering new solutions in services such as solar self-consumption, as well as focusing social action on helping the most vulnerable.
Through a spot, which contains a version of the well-known In the Summertime, by Mungo Jerry, the company’s initiatives are narrated in a relatable and positive way, which shows Naturgy’s vocation to being close to people and even more so in these difficult times.
The company is set to advertising across various media and channels to give visibility to this new initiative. Naturgy has once again turned to an animated illustrative world developed by Contrapunto BBDO, as the creative agency, and with Arena Media, as the media agency. Bungalow has taken charge of the animation, with illustrations by Ignasi Font.

Active commitment
Naturgy has focused on environmental, social and corporate governance sustainability in recent years through different initiatives in line with its commitment to energy transition and to playing an active role in society.
The company has become one of the leading investors in clean technologies, having installed 1,000 MW of renewables last year. Furthermore, Naturgy continues its objective of balancing its energy mix towards greater electrification based on renewable energies and to this end it is committed to growing in this field internationally as it has recently done in Australia with the implementation of different wind energy projects and an innovative energy storage system.
In corporate governance, the company has made progress towards achieving parity in its highest management body and has created a Sustainability Committee within the Board of Directors, which is responsible for overseeing and supervising the company’s role in energy transition. With this initiative, Naturgy reinforces the work it has already been carrying out in the area of sustainability, with the aim of maintaining its leadership as a responsible, reliable, integral, transparent company committed to society.
In the framework of the current crisis, the company has responded efficiently, decisively and ably, with different measures to support its customers, families, suppliers and society in general, measures which provide financial and social cover to a group of over 10 million people in Spain. In addition, employees and the Board of Directors, together with the company, have donated 2.3 million to the Red Cross Responses programme for the purchase of medical equipment.
