  • The new platform will be integrated into the Group’s Corporate University and will offer over 14,000 hours of training that promotes physical and emotional health, motivation and emotion management, among other topics.
  • The programme is part of Naturgy’s 360 Commitment to nurture a safe, quality working climate that fosters development in diverse, digital environments focused on continuous learning.

Naturgy has created Happiness Academy, a pioneering business initiative in Spain that aims to foster motivation and well-being among its professionals through training on areas and aspects that affect happiness.

This new academy is part of the Group’s Corporate University and offers training that promotes health and a physical, mental and emotional balance through experience-based and online workshops, with activities and talks by Spanish and international experts and leaders in these fields. Its scope covers the entire company and is backed by healthy leadership and psychological safety programmes.

One of the unique features of the Happiness School is that it provides tools and experiences linked to the main trends in this area that develop personal and self-management skills, strengthening personal and team behaviour related to well-being in the company, a sense of belonging, and workplace motivation.

“As an organisation, we have a shared responsibility to manage happiness and well-being in the workplace. Training our professionals makes us stronger as a company that is committed to people,” explains Naturgy’s Director of Managerial Talent and Culture Carmen Fernández.

Interest in people

Naturgy believes it is essential to promote a safe, quality work climate that fosters development in diverse, digital environments focused on continuous learning.

The company has recently been awarded the Top Employer seal, recognition it has achieved for the tenth consecutive year, establishing it as one of the best companies to work for in Spain. This seal is in addition to other certifications such as the EFR Global seal that recognises achievements related to work-life balance, well-being and diversity; the Top Wellbeing Company 2023 seal, awarded to the top 30 companies with the best occupational health and corporate well-being practises in Spain; and the Diversity Leading Company certification, in recognition of its management and practices regarding diversity and inclusion.
