UFD, the Naturgy Group electricity, will invest €1.33 billion up to 2028 to strengthen and digitalise its electricity grid in Spain. The aim of these investments is to improve the service offered to its customers and to promote the development of the energy transition, as established in the new Strategic Plan approved by Naturgy.
Gas Natural Servicios, the supply company of GAS NATURAL FENOSA, and the National Federation of Associations of Self-employed Workers have signed an agreement to provide members of this federation with a wide offer of energy, services and energy solutions aimed at improving the energy efficiency of self-employed workers.
The Chairman of the Toledo Federation of Business Leaders, FEDETO CEOE-Cepyme, Ángel Nicolás, and the General Manager of Nedgia Castilla-La Mancha, Miguel Martín de Pinto, signed a contract earlier today under which the power company will be the only sponsor from the energy sector for the 22nd FEDETO Business Awards, to be presented on 30 November in the city.
GAS NATURAL FENOSA posted a net profit of 320 million euros, up 7.4% on the same period of the previous year. It also posted an EBITDA of 1.05 billion euros between January and March, representing an increase of 2.7% on the first quarter of 2017.
“Unión Fenosa Distribución has invested 259 million euros between 2013 and 2017 to maintain and strengthen its electricity infrastructures in Castile-La Mancha” said Javier Delage, Director of Unión Fenosa Distribución in Castile-La Mancha.
Today, the Mayor of Talavera de la Reina, Jaime Ramos, and the General Manager of Nedgia Castilla-La Mancha, Miguel Martín de Pinto, held a working meeting at the municipality’s Town Hall in the province of Toledo which was also attended by the energy company’s provincial delegate, Germán Jara.
Gas Natural Fenosa Renovables has brought into operation the Haría wind farm, in which it has invested 4.3 million euros. Located in the municipality of Agüimes, it is the first facility of this kind that the company is bringing into operation in the Canary Islands.
The gas subsidiary of Gas Natural Fenosa, NEDGIA, has provided its users with the mobile application YoLeoGas Multidistribuidora to make the gas meter reading process easier. This is a shared initiative between the main gas distribution companies in Spain (NEDGIA, Redexis Gas, Madrileña Red de Gas and Nortegas), who are increasingly committed to greater efficiency in processes and digitalisation, and have a firm dedication to customer service, providing their users with one single application to make gas meter reading easier.
Gas Natural Fenosa Renovables has formalised the nomination of nine photovoltaic power plants, with a total installed power of over 340 MW (compared to the 250 MW awarded) and located in four provinces of two autonomous regions: Castile-La Mancha and Extremadura.
In Castile-La Mancha, Gas Natural Fenosa Renovables has formalised the nomination of seven photovoltaic power plants for a total installed power of 271.7 MW, this region being where the most projects and power have been registered. These projects are located in the provinces of Ciudad Real, Guadalajara and Toledo, and are called Canredondo, Carpio de Tajo, La Nava, Picón I, Picón II, Picón III and Zorita. Their construction would require a combined investment of some 176 million euros.
The Central-North Zone Delegate for the Commercialisation of Energy Solutions at Gas Natural Servicios, Mª Francisca Rodríguez, and the Managing Director of Paso Honroso, José Pedro Luengo, signed a contract this morning to build the first public compressed natural gas service station for the distribution network in Castile-Leon.
