Environmental impact studies

Naturgy conducts an Environmental Impact Study for every new project that requires one based on the type of project in question and any applicable legislation. Undertaken during the design stage, these studies examine the environment around the sites to identify and assess any environmental impacts. In order to reduce any negative impacts to a minimum, the necessary preventive, corrective and compensatory measures are established and included in the project. These Environmental Impact Studies are published for consultation with stakeholders, whose suggestions are gathered during the public information process and considered by the company.

Synthesis reports are then included on the main projects carried out, divided by project type and geographical location.
