








UFD, the Naturgy group electricity distributor, maintains its offensive against electricity fraud with the aim of preventing the risk that illegal connections imply for the safety of people and, additionally, to reduce the cost to other consumers, who see their electricity bill increase.
In line with its firm commitment to innovation, GAS NATURAL FENOSA has developed a system for transferring LNG (liquefied natural gas) that is unique in the world. This infrastructure is a floating system, exclusively recognised by various patents, which consists of a linking system that is compatible with all types of methane tankers.
Gas Natural Fenosa grows in Mexico upon winning two new concessions in the southeast of the country. The Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE) awarded Gas Natural Mexico distribution permits in two states, Campeche and Yucatan, which are among the most developed in the country.
Through Gas Natural Distribución Latinoamérica, GAS NATURAL FENOSA has agreed the sale of its 59.1% stake in GAS NATURAL S.A. ESP to the Canadian fund Brookfield Infrastructure (“BROOKFIELD”), a Colombian company dedicated to gas distribution and retail supply, by means of a process that will also allow minority shareholders to benefit from the offer at the same price as its shares.
Earlier today, GAS NATURAL FENOSA closed a bond issue worth 800 million euros that will mature in May 2025. The issue set an annual dividend of 0.875%. The issue price of the new bonds is 99.77% of their face value.
GAS NATURAL FENOSA obtained a net profit of 793 million euros in the first nine months of 2017, 14.7% less than the same period from the previous year, while the EBITDA stood at 3.14 billion euros, down 7.4% on the period January-September 2016.
GAS NATURAL FENOSA closed the sale of its companies and assets in Italy today in separate agreements with the companies 2i Rete Gas S.p.A. and Edison S.p.A. for a total amount of 1.02 billion euros.
Gas Natural Fenosa has signed an agreement to sell a minority stake of 20% in the company that owns the natural gas distribution assets in Spain (GNDB) to a consortium of long-term infrastructure investors made up by Allianz Capital Partners (ACP) and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB).
Through Gas Natural Fenosa Renovables, GAS NATURAL FENOSA has been awarded a total of 250 MW of photovoltaic energy at the renewable energy auction organised by the Government, in which it plans to invest up to 165 million euros during 2017-2019.
The Chairman of GAS NATURAL FENOSA, Isidro Fainé, and the Chairman of SEAT, Luca de Meo, signed a strategic agreement between the two companies earlier today aimed at promoting joint innovation projects and spreading the use of natural gas in the Spanish mobility sector.
The General Manager of Communication and Institutional Relations of GAS NATURAL FENOSA, Jordi Garcia Tabernero, the General Manager of the Gas Natural Fenosa Foundation, Martí Solà, and the President of Cáritas, Manuel Bretón, signed a partnership agreement to help groups affected by energy vulnerability in Spain.
